Because Jesus has taught us to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, strength, and mind, and to love our neighbors as ourselves we declare Christ Reformed UCC to be an Open and Affirming church. We invite people of every race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, marital status, economic circumstance, and physical and mental ability into the worship, rites & sacraments, fellowship, and leadership of our church.
NEW HERE?
Walking into a new church can be intimidating particularly if you don’t know anyone already attending or if you have had bad experiences elsewhere. We invite you to bring your hopes and fears, your shyness and exuberance, your faith and your doubts and add them to the mix.
On a Sunday morning you might see some people in a suit and tie, others in a t-shirt and shorts, and a lot of in between. We have ushers and greeters who can help point you to bathrooms, the nursery, where we have coffee hour and other places in the building. Or you can simply ask the person next to you. They were visitors at one time as well! We take up an offering at each service to underwrite the work the church is doing, but as a visitor you are not expected to contribute. Our worship, fellowship and education are our gift to you. And since we believe that God doesn't expect us to clean ourselves up before we come to church we say, come as you are.

OUR MINISTRIES
We are large enough as a church to provide lots of opportunities for service, fellowship and education, but we are small enough to call ourselves a church family. Young and old, newcomer and long-time member there is a place for you to grow in your faith.
GET INVOLVED
Take a look on the website and in our newsletter and worship bulletins for some of the possibilities for using your gifts in service of others. And if you have a gift and don’t see a place to use it, speak to one of our staff. They can help connect your vision and passion with others in the congregation who share your dream.
